Most of Why is its title track, a long minor blues jam. A huge organ and drum solo dates the piece, but in the most charming of ways. Maquina are smart--they work great playing into basic blues changes and don't tart the music up with artsy trimmings. Plenty of energy. The track is in two parts, formatted for vinyl/5(2).

Why? is the debut LP by Barcelona based band Maquina!, a classic album in spanish rock history. Also known as "The Croissant album" it was praised by genius Salvador Dalí himself.

Máquina!'s debut LP is a really solid and entertaining mix of guitar/organ driven prog rock and jam band psychedelia. The album includes just three songs and two of them are quite short while the title track "Why?" is separated in two parts. It's a pretty awesome jam oriented track with impressive instrumental work.
